Groups Pan Wicker Privacy Bill

In advance of a Senate Commerce Committee hearing on the need for federal privacy legislation, Consumer Federation of America  and several other groups sent a letter to the committee explaining that the SAFE DATA Act, sponsored by Committee chair Roger Wicker, falls far short of what is needed to adequately protect  privacy in the United States.
