CFA, Public Interest Groups Urge FCC to Delay Net Neutrality Vote

In a letter to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Ajit Pai, CFA and other public interest groups are asking that the FCC delay a vote on Net Neutrality until resolution of the pending en banc review in FTC v. AT&T Mobility. Rushing to a vote before the Ninth Circuit resolves this
decision cavalierly risks the purported safeguards that Chairman Pai and other supporters of the “Restoring Internet Freedom” Order have repeatedly declared will protect consumers from abusive or anti-‐competitive practices. To do otherwise puts even the most basic consumer protections for broadband subscribers at risk.
