Jim Blau is the Director of Negotiated Benefits and the Director of the Capital Stewardship Program at the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union. He has more than twenty years of experience working for labor unions that represent workers in various industries. Prior to joining the labor movement Blau earned a master’s degree from Brown University in Ethnomusicology, and a dual undergraduate degree in Mathematics and German Studies from Cornell University. He is a CFA Institute Charterholder and holds a CEBS designation.
