Telephone

Digitization has greatly expanded telephone options to consumers. However, these expanded services, especially those available through smart phones, can be costly, especially when offered by companies that are insufficiently competitive so can raise prices. CFA supports stronger consumer protections related to telephone service, privacy, and pricing. We also advocate for the expansion of the universal service program to include access to digital phone services.
