Emily Lindauer is the Director of Development for the Consumer Federation of America, where she serves as the leading fundraiser and strategist for sustaining and expanding CFA’s impact. Emily focuses on growing revenue streams by building strategic partnerships, cultivating donor relationships, expanding membership, and increasing awareness of CFA’s mission to protect consumers and advocate for their interests.
She brings over a decade of experience in development and has dedicated her career to fundraising for causes she is passionate about, working with several local, national, and international organizations. Before joining CFA, Emily was the Senior Manager of Collaborative Fundraising & Donor Relations at the Lustgarten Foundation, and held a similar role at World Food Program USA. She began her career in fundraising at Lutheran Settlement House in her home city of Philadelphia.
Emily received a B.A. in Architectural Studies from Mount Holyoke College and a MS in Nonprofit and NGO Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania, where she currently mentors post-graduate students in the School of Social Policy & Practice. She lives in Alexandria with her partner, Steve, and dog, Tuna.
