Jeffrey Connor is Chief Operating Officer of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).  He provides strategic direction, resource planning and senior leadership for the national association representing more than 900 not-for-profit, consumer-owned electric co-ops. Connor brings a background in public policy, coalition-building, and communications to the community-focused advocacy work of America’s electric cooperatives. Prior to joining NRECA, he served as Chief of Staff and Communications Director to U.S. Representative Jo Ann Emerson, in addition to posts with the House Appropriations Committee, U.S. Representative Lee Terry, and several working groups in the U.S. Congress.
