CFA Encourages FCC to Vote to Pass Strong Broadband Privacy Rules, Reject Industry Calls to Weaken the Proposal

As the Federal Communications Commission prepares to vote on rules to protect broadband privacy, Consumer Federation of America and a number of privacy advocacy organizations are encouraging the FCC to pass strong rules, and reject industry calls to weaken the proposal. The legal and policy reasons for heightened consumer privacy protections for telecommunications customers are clear. The FCC should cement their hard work by passing strong broadband privacy rules.
