Groups Urge FAA to Update Testing Standards for Passenger Evacuation Tests
Consumer and passenger rights groups urge the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to ensure that before the upcoming passenger evacuation tests in November 2019, that it updates evacuation testing standards to accurately reflect significant changes that have taken place in commercial flight and the lessons learned since the current standards were adopted in the 1990s.
