80+ Groups Endorse Principles to Protect Civil Rights and Privacy Principles in Using Technology to Combat COVID-19
CFA joined more than 80 organizations representing consumers, workers, minorities, people with disabilities, and other members of civil society in letters to the Senate and House Commerce Committees urging lawmakers to ensure that technological tools deployed in response to the COVID-19 crisis are non-discriminatory, effective, voluntary, secure, accountable, and used exclusively for public health purposes.
