CFA’s Dr. Sharon Cornelissen's Written Testimony Before House Financial Services Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance

Dr. Sharon Cornelissen, Director of Housing at the Consumer Federation of America (CFA), submitted the following written testimony before the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services, Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance, for a hearing titled “Homeownership and the Role of the Secondary Mortgage Market.” Her testimony highlights the essential role of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as mission-focused government-sponsored enterprises in expanding access to affordable homeownership and strengthening housing stability nationwide.
