CFA, Other Public Interest Groups Urge FTC Not to Delay Updating Range and Cost Information for Clothes Washers
CFA joins with advocates in comments to the Federal Trade Commission urging the Commission not to delay the updating of the range and cost information for clothes washers on the EnergyGuide label especially since new energy and water efficiency standards went into effect on Jan. 1, 2018. Changes in the clothes washer market need to be reflected on EnergyGuide labels to ensure that consumers have accurate information when making purchasing decisions.
