CFA and NCLC Filed Comments at The Department of Energy in Opposition to the Agency’s Proposed Interpretative Rule Affecting Furnace Efficiency Standards.

CFA and NCLC filed comments with the Dept. of Energy opposing its proposed interpretative rule for furnaces that would exclude non-condensing furnaces from efficiency standards which currently apply to all furnaces – non-condensing and condensing alike. If the proposed DOE standard prevails, inefficient non-condensing furnaces would, in effect, be exempt from any further efficiency regulation.
