Advocates Urge DOE to Adopt Higher Efficiency Standard for Microwave Ovens

Responding to the supplemental notice of proposed rulemaking (SNOPR) for energy conservation standards for microwave ovens, CFA joined other advocates in urging DOE to consider adopting higher efficiency levels than those proposed in the SNOPR. We also continue to encourage DOE to develop a test procedure and set standards for active mode energy consumption.
