CFA TC

Consumer Federation of America joined other consumer, civil rights, and civil liberties organizations in a letter to the Chair and Commissioners of the Federal Trade Commission to bring their attention to the urgent need to protect civil rights and privacy in data-driven commerce. Specifically, the groups asked the agency to initiate rulemaking and take other appropriate actions to regulate unfair and deceptive commercial data practices, create an Office of Civil Rights, and commit greater resources to aggressive enforcement.
