Consumer Privacy Groups Call on CA Legislature to Protect the California Consumer Privacy Act
In a letter to members of the California legislature, consumer privacy groups call on legislators to protect the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 from industry attempts to weaken the law. Various industry interests have expressed strong interest in weakening the Act before they must comply on January 1, 2020.
