CFA TC

The Consumer Federation of America (CFA), Center for Insurance Research (CIR), and Center for Economic Justice (CEJ) urged the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Commission (IIPRC) to adopt the May 19, 2008 proposed amendment to the public information rule. The amendment makes insurer product filings with the Commission public as soon as they are submitted. In these comments, the consumer groups laid out why public transparency is necessary and why industry complaints about this amendment are unfounded.
