Consumer Groups Ask State AGs to Investigate Privacy Practices of Pharmacies Administering COVID Vaccines
Consumer and privacy groups, including Consumer Federation of America, wrote to the Attorneys General of California, Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, and the District of Columbia asking them to investigate whether pharmacies that are giving individuals shots against COVID-19 are collecting and using their personal information for purposes unrelated to administering the vaccines, including for marketing.
