Consumer and Privacy Groups Pan Internet Advertisers’ CCPA Compliance Plans
In comments to the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), an association of companies engaged in online advertising, CFA and other consumer and privacy groups criticized the IAB’s proposed framework for complying with the California Consumer Privacy Act. as appearing to adopt a contorted interpretation of that law in order to avoid making the changes to business practices that it requires.
