Consumer and Privacy Groups Letter to EU Supporting the European Union Data Protection Regulation

CFA and other advocacy organizations write to members of the European Parliament on behalf of US consumers to express strong support for the new European Union Data Protection Regulation. Many of us wrote to you last year at this time to express our support and to offer specific suggestions. As we explained, “we believe that the promotion of stronger privacy standards in Europe will benefit consumers around the globe.”
