Children’s Rights Must Be Protected in Remote Learning
With most of the world’s children affected by school closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many are now going online for educational resources and instruction. In an open letter to policymakers, data protection authorities, and providers of “EdTech” services, CFA and other groups around the world urged that only technologies that uphold children’s rights and enable them to access knowledge without commercial interference be used.
