CFA Testifies About Inadequate Protections from Discrimination and Weak Enforcement in WA Privacy Bill

In testimony to the Washington House Civil Rights & Judiciary Committee, Consumer Federation of America described how the Washington Privacy Act fails to adequately protect consumers from discrimination and disparate impacts and pointed out the provisions in the bill that would weaken enforcement.
