CFA Opposes Telecom Associations' Attempt to Delay FCC Rulemaking on Privacy of Broadband Customers
CFA, alongside a coalition of consumer and privacy groups, is calling on the FCC to oppose a Motion for Extension of Time filed by by the American Cable Association, Consumer Technology Association, CTIA, Internet Commerce Coalition, National Cable & Telecommunications Association, U.S. Telecom Association, and Wireless Internet Service Providers Association which would unnecessarily length the comment period established by the FCC in the Privacy NPRM.
