CFA Joins Consumer, Public Health Advocates in Asking Administration to Address Alcohol in MAHA Deliberations

Consumer Federation of America and a broad range of organizations and individuals dedicated to reducing alcohol-related harms submitted the following letter to Trump Administration officials, urging them to move forward with alcohol labeling proposals that would give consumers basic information about macronutrients, ingredients, and allergens in alcoholic beverages, and update the health warning statement on alcohol to advise consumers of cancer risk. As the letter explains, these measures will help fulfill President Trump’s goal of Making America Healthy Again.
