CFA Joins Consumer Advocacy Groups in Submitting Comments to the FCC’s “Delete, Delete, Delete” Notice
CFA joins the National Consumer Law Center, Consumer Action, and other consumer advocacy groups in submitting comments to the FCC’s “Delete, Delete, Delete” notice, which seeks to blindly cut regulations. The group highlights how the regulations recommended for cutting by the multitude of industry commenters would make scam calls and texts harder to stop, among many others. This would be an abdication of the Commission’s job to protect consumers and small businesses relying on access to communications services, and we urge the Commission not to weaken any of the regulations that address unwanted phone calls and texts.
