CFA, Consumer Groups Submit Joint Comments to CPSC Regarding Infant and Cradle Swings Standard
Consumer Federation of America, Consumer Reports, and Safe Infant Sleep submitted joint comments to the Consumer Product Safety Commission in support of the revisions to the infant and cradle swing safety standards, but urged the Commission to consider whether it would be feasible to conduct safety testing while the product is in motion, not just a static position, because infant and cradle swings are intended for continuous motion during periods of use and this may result in unintended infant repositions during this normal and foreseeable use.
