Advocates Weigh in on Three Senate Privacy Bills

In a letter to the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, & Transportation, CFA and other consumer and privacy groups explained how three Senate privacy bills, the Consumer Online Privacy Rights Act, the United States Consumer Data Privacy Act of 2019, and the Balancing the Rights of Web Surfers Equally and Responsibly, measure up to their principles for effective privacy protection.
