Consumer Groups Commend U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commissioner Thomas Moore for his 16 Years of Service

Consumer Federation of America, Consumers Union, Kids In Danger and Public Citizen offer the following statement upon the retirement of Commissioner Thomas Moore from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission:

Our organizations thank Commissioner Moore for his sixteen dedicated years at the Consumer Product Safety Commission. During his tenure, Commissioner Moore always expressed a strong commitment to consumers. We appreciate Commissioner Moore’s dedication to protecting Americans from product hazards, for his years of working to ensure CPSC had adequate funds to fulfill its mission, and for his own knowledge as well as his knowledgeable staff who have been crucial resources in helping to craft vital consumer protections.  We wish Commissioner Moore all the best in his future endeavors.
