2018 ANNUAL REPORT 9 2018 ANNUAL REPORT letters from coalition members opposing state and local efforts to allow ATVs to be driven on public roads. Other product-specific efforts included testifying before the CPSC about priorities for the next fiscal year and about the “internet of things”; urging the agency to make the IKEA recall of dressers posing tipping hazards more effective; filing comments with allied groups on the agency’s Operating Plan for FY 2018 and 2019, product registration, and clothing storage units; and urging the agency to take stronger enforcement actions on recreational off highway vehicles and infant inclined sleep products. We also worked on numerous voluntary standards, including those for juvenile products, furniture, laundry packets, portable generators, toys, microwaves, and window coverings. We communicated with Health Canada about their proposed window covering regulation and about their cost benefit analysis supporting the proposed rule.
