Richard Eckman serves as the Communications Manager and Research Advocate for Consumer Federation of America. Richard helps manage media outreach, keeping press contacts up-to-date and provides research support on a variety of CFA’s public policy issues.
Prior to joining CFA, Richard worked as a Public Relations & Research Associate with a focus on auto safety and federal fuel economy standards at Gillis and Associates and continues to serve as co-author of The Car Book, published by the Center for Auto Safety. Richard has a B.A. in Government from Franklin and Marshall.
